Move into a newly built student apartment at Pireus
On February 15, 2023, we start renting out the newly built Nordic Swan eco-labelled student housing at Pireus in Lund.
Pireus consists of five different buildings, varying from four to eight stories, with white facades, black sheet metal features and playfully positioned drainpipes. The 223 student apartments provide space for up to 300 students. There are one-room apartments for those who wish to live alone and larger apartments that are perfect for 2-3 friends who want to live together. The bedrooms in these apartments for friends have space for both a bed and a study place.
The student housing is Nordic Swan eco-labelled and promises everything from low climate impact, low energy consumption, solar cells, eco-friendly materials, sedum roofs and a sound indoor environment to good conditions for supporting students’ bicycle usage.
All-inclusive
The rents at Pireus include most of the important utilities; 1 Gb of internet, electricity, heating, hot water, detergent and a personal bicycle rack. But telephone and TV sockets are not available, since today's students think that is not important.
The rent also includes a high housing standard. This means smart storage solutions, tiled bathrooms with wet room carpets and induction stoves in the kitchen. All homes have their own storage.
Rental plan
The student apartments in Pireus are rented out on the same terms as all our other housing, on AF Bostäder's website. Since there are two move-in dates, the renting will be done in two stages:
- Stage 1: Kämnärsvägen 5, 7 and 9. Rental starts on February 15 with a move-in date on May 2, 2023.
- Stage 2: Kämnärsvägen 1 and 3. Rental starts on May 3 with a move-in date on September 1, 2023.
The rent and other rental conditions
A reasonable rent level is always our goal in all new construction projects and Pireus is no exception. Here, the rent starts at around SEK 3,900 per resident and month, and all homes have a twelve-month rent. Complete rental conditions are stated in the contract.
