At Proto, you are guaranteed to always be first! Proto, which means “first” in Greece, is located at Kämnärsvägen as a part of a larger campus environment. The area opened in 2019 as the first stage in a newly developed and modern student housing area that focuses on sustainability and wellbeing.
Proto consists of three buildings of three to six stories that offer charming architecture with attractive steel facades and green bay windows that look out over the surroundings. With 185 1–3 room apartments in a number of variants, Proto provides housing for up to 300 students. It is easy to find your preferred type of housing. There are one-room apartments for those who want to live solo, two-room apartments for couples or friends, and three-room apartments that are perfect for 2–3 friends who want to live together. Several of the apartments have fine loft and split-level solutions. The bedrooms in apartments for friends have space for both a bed and study station.
The laundry room located is in the courtyard and you have access to a game room with a ping pong table, pool table, and dart board on Kämnärsvägen 49 F.
Campuskilen, the pedestrian area that winds through the area, offers a wide range of activities such as an outdoor gym, a boules court, table tennis, and barbecue areas.
Here you live close to LTH and the School of Economics. Student nation life, the center of Lund, and all the university institutions are within easy cycling distance. The neighborhood offers a wide range of services such as food store, pharmacy, post office, gym, swimming pool, jogging track, and green areas.
The rent includes electricity, hot water, detergent, storage, a designated place in the cycle rack, and internet bandwidth of 1 GB. There is no TV outlet.
At AF Bostäder you live in a smoke-free environment. Smoking is prohibited both in the accommodation and shared spaces such as stairwells and laundry rooms.
