Gingerbread House 2024
This year's gingerbread house competition has concluded, and we are delighted to unveil the winners! Congratulations to Delphi 55D, 1107-1112 and their creation "A Christmas version of Mont Saint Michel", securing the first prize!
🥇 FIRST PRIZE: "A Christmas version of Mont Saint Michel" by the corridor at Magistratsvägen 55D, 1107-1112, at Delphi. With meticulous calculations and precision, they built every piece from scratch. After 10 hours of creative teamwork, their masterpiece is complete, and they have every reason to be proud of the result! Check out their beautiful creation and meet the creative students behind it above.
🥈 SECOND PRIZE: "D-reaming of Christmas" by the corridors on floors 4 and 5 in 55D at Delphi. Two corridors came together to create this colourful and personal masterpiece – a representation of their own home, complete with details reflecting each resident. We especially love the touch of including their caretaker, Peter, stuck on the roof after handling a fault report – but thankfully with his gloves on!
🥉 THIRD PRIZE: "The Syndernas Sweet Spot" by Corridor E 1313-1326 at Sparta. Their creation, inspired by Lund’s iconic Syndernas Hus, perfectly captures student life – a balance between studies and community. The front is elegant and sleek, while the back bursts with creativity and energy. A wonderful representation of how Lund students stay focused yet know how to have fun!
Congratulations to all the winners and their fantastic contributions! And a big thank you to all the students who participated in this year's gingerbread house competition!
