Payment period

The payment period varies between 9 and 12 months, depending on the type of housing. This period refers to the months rent is due each year, not the duration of your contract.

For apartments

The payment period is 12 months, meaning rent is due every month of the year.

For corridor rooms

The payment period is 9 months. Rent is only paid from September to May, with no rent due during the summer months (June, July, and August). Students can live in their corridor rooms year-round (up to a maximum of six years, provided they meet queue and rental requirements), but they only pay rent for nine months each year.

Note: If your contract begins during the summer, rent will be due for the first month of your contract. For example, if your contract starts on June 1st, you’ll pay rent for June but not for July or August.
