Pleasant, homely feel in airy, split-level corridor
Park offers green and pleasant corridor accommodation, located in north Lund, directly adjacent to the popular Kämnärsrätten campus environment. The area is small and well-planned with a nice terraced housing feel. There are ten spacious split-level corridors with 12 corridor rooms in each. The accommodation, kitchen, living room and laundry room are neatly divided between three different floors with the accommodation split between the top and bottom floors. At the heart of each split-level corridor is a communal kitchen with associated living room in an attractive open plan layout. Each corridor room is approximately 20 square metres, and all have a shower and toilet. Each split-level corridor has its own laundry room and a cosy, sheltered courtyard with a barbecue area. You also have access to the games room at Kämnärsvägen 49 F (with a ping pong table, pool table, and dartboard), the hobby room at Kämnärsvägen 37, and the study rooms at Pireus (Kämnärsvägen 7 and 9).
The surroundings are known for their greenery and beautiful trees. Throughout Kämnärsrätten, there are signs of the emerging Campuskilen, a thoroughfare under construction, which, when completed, will thread its way from Delphi in the west to Park in the east. Here, you will find good options for activities such as an outdoor gym, boule court, table tennis tables and lovely areas for both barbecuing and chilling.
At Park, you live close to Lund University’s Faculty of Engineering (LTH) and School of Economics and Management. Student nation life, the university’s departments and Lund city centre are within easy cycling distance. Local amenities include a supermarket, chemist, parcel collection centre, gym, swimming pool, green areas and exercise track.
The rent includes electricity, heating/water, storage space, your own cycle parking space and internet (1 Gb).
At AF Bostäder, you live in a smoking-free environment. This means smoking is not permitted in accommodation or in communal spaces such as corridors, stairwells and laundry rooms.
There are a lot of changes going on in the area, which may cause disturbance from nearby construction sites, see ongoing projects.
