Bicycle removal - how it works
To ensure that students always have space for their bicycles in the bicycle racks on our student housing areas, we regularly remove abandoned, broken and incorrectly parked bicycles.
This is what happens
Twice a year, we remove bicycles that are deemed unusable. Our partner Activa Servicepartner labels these bicycles with a red tag.
Important to know:
- Bicycles parked in racks marked with an apartment number will not be labelled.
- Only bicycles left in guest parking areas or other spaces will be labelled.
Want to keep your bicycle? Remove the tag immediately.
If the tag is still on the bicycle at the time of removal, it will be stored for six months. After that, it will be considered abandoned and sent for recycling.
