Lovely and friendly under the treetops
At Kämnärsrätten you will find some of our most popular student housing. Along with other adjacent student housing areas, Kämnärsrätten creates one of Sweden’s largest and most pleasant campus environments. Kämnärsrätten is well known for its attractive housing, its green surroundings, and its many majestic trees.
The major part of Kämnärsrätten consists of five quarters with charming planned low-rise buildings of various heights, some with access balconies. Here, there are 489 spacious apartments with 2–4 rooms plus a kitchen, large secluded courtyards, urban meadows, barbecue areas, and several playgrounds. The quarter with low-rise housing is very suitable for those with families or who want to share accommodation with friends.
The laundry room is available in the basement of each courtyard. You also have access to the games room at Kämnärsvägen 49 F (with a ping pong table, pool table, and dartboard), the hobby room at Kämnärsvägen 37, and the study rooms at Pireus (Kämnärsvägen 7 and 9).
Kämnärsrätten is a green and leafy area and there are signs everywhere of the emerging Campuskilen, a thoroughfare under construction, which, when completed, will thread its way from Delphi in the west to Park in the east. Here, you will find good options for activities such as an outdoor gym, boule court, table tennis tables, and lovely areas for both barbecuing and chilling.
At Kämnärsrätten, you live close to Lund University’s Faculty of Engineering (LTH) and the School of Economics and Management. Student nation life, the university’s departments, and Lund city center are within easy cycling distance. Local amenities include a supermarket, pharmacy, parcel collection center, gym, swimming pool, green areas, and exercise track.
The rent includes heating/water, storage space, and internet (1 Gb).
At AF Bostäder, you live in a smoking-free environment. This means smoking is not permitted in accommodation or in communal spaces such as stairwells and laundry rooms.
There are a lot of changes going on in the area, which may cause disturbance from nearby construction sites, see ongoing projects.
