Three quick questions for our new Residence Representative

Question 1: Why did you choose to become the students' elected representative at AF Bostäder?

Answer: During my part-time job as a student employee at AF Bostäder's Service Centre, I realized I wanted to get even more involved in improving students' housing situations.

Question 2: What are you looking forward to the most during your year as a Residence Representative?

Answer: I want to deepen my understanding of what matters to students regarding their housing, both nationally and locally. Additionally, I look forward to contributing to AF Bostäder's operations. Since I began my studies during the COVID-19 pandemic, I also want to explore Lund's student life more and meet people studying various subjects.

Question 3: Do you have any tips for students living with AF Bostäder?

Answer: If you're feeling nervous about your inspection, don't hesitate to talk to your caretaker. All the caretakers I've met are incredibly friendly and helpful. Furthermore, I want to remind all AF Bostäder’s tenants and housing applicants that you can request a semester's Exemption from the study and membership requirements. This can be helpful if, for example, you miss a major exam, need to take a study break, or participate in an exchange program. Lastly, I encourage all students to prioritize their mental and physical health. It's the most important thing of all.
